LISTAHANG TUBIG LAUNCHED The “LISTAHANG TUBIG PROJECT” was launched at the DILG office, Quezon City  on October 29, 2014.  The Listahang Tubig or Water Register a project of the National Water Resources Board is a web-based nationwide survey of water utilities covering  all service levels- Level I or point source, Level II or communal faucets and Level III systems or piped connections supported by the World Bank Water and Sanitation Program (WB-WSP) and the U. S. Agency International Development (USAID)’s Water for Resilient Economic Growth and Stability (Be Secure) Project to be able to expedite the delivery of basic  services and the achievement  of sustainable access to safe drinking water and expected to be completed by May 2015.

Dr. Sevillo David, Jr. , NWRB Executive Director said  that through the project we can locate the  geographic area of the water utilities and the information will be made available to all users for planning and decision making. He further said that collaboration and synergy of the three agencies is critical for the success of the activity.
The highlight of the event was the signing of the Tripartite  Agreement by Director Sevillo David Jr,,of NWRB,  Administrator Andres Ibarra of LWUA and Ms. Rolyn Zambales  of the DILG.   The agreement  institutionalized the roles and responsibilities of the agencies namely:  NWRB will setup and maintain the Listahang Tubig web-based system where basic data of water utilities  will be made available to all users.; and  DILG  and LWUA will enjoin the local government units and the water districts, respectively to participate and support in the survey.
Basically, all the data collected from the survey will form the initial water register and will be updated annually.  Water Utilities will key in data directly in the Listahang Tubig website, http://listahang
