FOR WELL DRILLER REGISTRATION

Who May Avail of the Service?

  • Any individual, partnership, or corporation who is engaged in either manual or mechanized well drilling operations.

What are the requirements in filing a Well Driller Registration and how much is the corresponding registration fee?to pay AWC and SRF?

How long will it take to approve the Registration?

  • Four (4) working days from the date of filing.

What is the validity period of the Registration?

  • One (1) year upon approval.

Does NWRB accept application/s with incomplete requirements?

  • No, only application/s with complete requirements shall be accepted. Likewise, payment will only be accepted once all the requirements have been complied with. Nonetheless, NWRB-MED staff shall advise the applicants with the documents to be submitted in order to proceed with the process of the application.

Can we file and pay our application for registration in the province?

  • No, but the application for registration can be screened and reviewed by our staff in Cebu and Davao Extension Offices to verify the completeness of the application. The payment for the registration can be paid directly to NWRB thru cash, postal money order or company check payable to National Water Resources Board.

FOR GROUND WATER TABLE DEPTH CERTIFICATION

Who may avail of the service?

  • Owners/Developers of a Proposed Memorial Park/Cemetery.

What are the requirements in the Application for Groundwater Table Depth Certificate and how much is the corresponding fee?

How long will it take to approve the certification?

  • Five (5) working days from the date of filing.

Who will conduct the actual water table depth measurement?

  • It would be conducted by the DPWH Engineering Office where the proposed Memorial Park is located. The application for Groundwater Table Depth Certificate will be endorsed to the corresponding DPWH District Engineering Office and said office shall conduct the actual water table depth measurement and endorse it back to NWRB together with the report of investigation duly signed by the District Engineer.

FOR WATER METER TESTING AND SEALING

WHO CAN AVAIL THE WATER METER TESTING AND SEALING?

  • All water utility operators or service providers, under the supervision or regulation of the National Water Resources Board (NWRB);
  • Suppliers or distributors of water meters whose water meters are distributed to water utility operators or service providers under the supervision or regulation of NWRB; and
  • Individuals supplied by service providers under the supervision of regulation of NWRB.

WHAT TYPE/SIZE OF WATER METER DOES NWRB TEST AND SEAL?

  • Household (analog and digital) water meter with sizes ranging from ½ to 1 inch.

HOW MUCH IS A WATER METER TESTING FEE?

  • ₱100/ Water meter.

HOW MANY WATER METERS CAN BE TESTED AND SEALED BY THE NWRB WATER METER LABORATORY PER DAY?

  • 150 water meters/day.

HOW MANY WATER METERS CAN A CLIENT BRING DIRECTLY TO THE NWRB WATER METER LABORATORY FOR TESTING AT A TIME?

  • For walk-in, a maximum of ten (10) water meters can be accepted for immediate testing and sealing at the NWRB Water Meter Laboratory within the day. However, for more than (10) water meters, coordination with the NWRB Calibration staff is needed for proper scheduling which can be made through our Telephone No. 08-920-2654

Does NWRB test and seal household water meter being supplied by Manila Water, Maynilad and Water District?

  • No, only those household water meters supplied by service providers under the supervision or regulation of the NWRB can be tested and sealed by NWRB.

DOES NWRB CONDUCT ON-SITE TESTING AND SEALING?

  • Yes, upon receipt of official letter-request.

WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES IN THE CONDUCT OF WATER METER TESTING AND SEALING?

A. NWRB LABORATORY

  • Fill-out the form available at the NWRB Water Meter Laboratory (ground floor beside NIA bldg.)
  • Proceed to Calibration Section for the issuance of the order of payment.
  • Proceed to Cashier for the payment of testing fee which can be paid through cash or Company Check payable to National Water Resources Board.
  • Bring the water meter/s to the NWRB Water Meter Laboratory for testing and sealing.
  • Upon completion of the testing and sealing of the water meter/s, corresponding testing report/s shall be issued.

B. ON-SITE

  • Submit a Letter of Request to NWRB for approval.
  • Upon approval, fill-out the form available at the NWRB Water Meter Laboratory (ground floor beside NIA bldg.) Proceed to Calibration Section for the issuance of the order of payment.
  • Proceed to cashier for the payment of testing fee which can be paid in cash or Company Check payable to National Water Resources Board.
  • The calibration staff will set the schedule of on-site testing and sealing upon payment of the testing fee.
  • Upon completion of the testing and sealing of the water meter/s, corresponding testing report/s shall be issued.

WHAT IS THE ACCEPTABLE ERROR FOR THE TESTING AND SEALING OF WATER METER?

  • The acceptable error or the Maximum Permissible Error (MPE) is ±3%.

HOW OFTEN DO WE NEED TO TEST OUR WATER METER?

  • Once every two (2) years.
