Policy on Streamlining and Process Improvement of NWRB's Frontline Services in Compliance with R.A. 11032, as Revised 2022
NWRB Res. No. 21-0322 was approved by the Board on its meeting held on March 30, 2022 which provides the amendment to Res. No. 15-0719 on streamlining and process improvements of NWRB's frontline services to be harmonized with existing special laws and/or IRRs and to be consistent with the Agency's updated Citizen's Charter.
Extension of Time on the Submission of Annual Report and Payment of Supervision and Regulation Fees During the State of Public Health Emergency
NWRB Res. No. 26-0222 was approved by the Board on its meeting held on February 16, 2022 which provides CPC grantees a two (2) months extension period on the submission of Annual Reports and payment of Supervision and Regulation Fees, which fall due on May 30, 2022 and September 30, 2022, respectively during the State of Public Health Emergency.
Amendment on the Extension of Validity of Conditional Water Permit During the State of Public Health Emergency
NWRB Res. No. 05-0320-B was approved by the Board on its meeting held on 27 October 2021 which provides that all CWPs  that have expired after 30 September 2021 including those with granted extensions shall be valid until Sept. 30, 2022, unless Proclamation No. 1218 S 2021 is earlier lifted or extended as the circumstances may warrant. In the case where the said proclamation is earlier lifted, a 30-day grace period shall render the above-mentioned CWPs to still be valid from the date of lifting.
Further Amending the Policy Guidelines on the Processing and Issuance of WPs and CWPs
NWRB Res. No. 15-0921 was approved by the Board on its meeting held on September 22, 2021 which provides that all holders of CWP for municipal use shall secure a CPC and maintain the same in good standing until the WP has been issued, otherwise, the CWP will be cancelled or revoked. On the other hand, all holders of a WP for municipal use shall maintain the legality and good standing of a CPC, otherwise the same can be a ground for the cancellation of the WP. Likewise, water permittees for municipal use not required by law to secure a CPC shall also maintain their WPs in good standing, otherwise the same may be cancelled or revoked.


Pursuant to the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 Resolution No. 11 series of 2020, declaring Code Red Sub-Level 2 on the COVID-19 pandemic, and suspending work in the Executive Department in Metro Manila, Memorandum of the Executive Secretary dated March 13, 2020 on the Stringent Social Distancing Measures and Further Guidelines for the Management of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 Situation,

and CSC Announcement No. 12, Series of 2020, on the Alternative Work Arrangements in Light of Code Red Sublevel 2, the National Water Resources Board has created a skeletal force that shall attend to your transactions, such as the filing of water permit applications, in order not to hamper the delivery of our services.

As earlier announced, all hearings in the Water Rights Division scheduled from March 16, 2020 to April 12, 2020 are POSTPONED, since domestic travel is strictly restricted. The NWRB shall issue the necessary Orders for the rescheduling of said hearings.
