NWRB recognized by GQMC for obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification
The National Water Resources Board (NWRB) received a Certificate of Recognition for securing an ISO 9001:2015 certification from the Government Quality Management Committee (GQMC) during its 7th Recognition Ceremony and Public Sector Quality and Productivity Improvement Forum held at the Delegation Building, Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City on October 24, 2019.
The recognition was given to all government organizations which hold ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification. The NWRB earned the ISO 9001:2015 certification last December 10, 2018 and continually sustains its QMS for improved delivery of its frontline services and better client satisfaction.
Atty. Archie Edsel C. Asuncion, Officer-In-Charge, Deputy Executive Director received the award on behalf of NWRB from Acting Secretary Wendel E. Avisado of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and Chairperson of GQMC.
Centered on the theme: “QMS Level-Up! Gearing for Future-ready Public Service”, this event recognizes the Quality and Productive Improvement (QPI) efforts of government agencies in rendering exceptional services to the people.
